North Lancashire Primary Care Trust is responsible for the commissioning of the Out of Hours Service (Bay Urgent Care), which covers evenings, nights and weekends outside of the usual practice hours.

After calling this number, you will be asked for details about the patient and the problem they are having. You will then be either offered advice, a surgery consultation, or a visit. Surgeries are located at the Queen Victoria Centre in Morecambe and at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, in the orthopaedic out-patient department (next to Accident and Emergency).
